Short version: we store as little as possible, we never sell your data, and you're free to use the service for fun.

Secret Jigsaw is designed to be as privacy-friendly as possible. Here's exactly what happens to your data.

What we collect

We collect minimal information to make the service work:

  • Your photo — when you create a puzzle, your image is uploaded to our server to generate the puzzle link. It is stored temporarily and automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how many people use Secret Jigsaw and which features are popular. This is anonymous aggregate data (page views, session counts). No personal profiles are built.
  • Contact messages — if you contact us via the contact form, your name, email, and message are stored so we can reply to you.

What we don't collect

  • We do not require you to create an account.
  • We do not collect your name or email address when creating a puzzle.
  • We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to third parties.
  • We do not use persistent cookies beyond what Google Analytics requires.

Your photos

Photos you upload are used solely to generate the jigsaw puzzle. They are stored on our servers for a maximum of 30 days, after which they are permanently deleted. The link to your puzzle becomes invalid once the photo is deleted.

Please don't upload images you don't own or that contain sensitive personal information — puzzle links are publicly accessible to anyone with the URL.

By using Secret Jigsaw, you agree to these terms. They're intentionally short and readable.

Acceptable use

Secret Jigsaw is for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

  • Upload images that are illegal, obscene, or infringe on someone else's copyright.
  • Use the service to harass or harm others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our servers.
  • Use the service for spam or automated bulk puzzle creation.

No warranties

Secret Jigsaw is provided "as is" without any warranties. We make no guarantees about uptime or that puzzle links will remain accessible indefinitely. Photos are deleted after 30 days.

Changes to these policies

We may update these policies occasionally. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the service means you accept any changes.
